Neghunek Oozulhts'ai ~ Hear Our Words (HOW) is the portion of the ‘Ut’loo Noye Khunni ~Weaving Words Celebration specifically dedicated to the expression of Indigenous youth, ages 10-30. Throughout the years of Weaving Words Celebration, it has been a priority to ensure specific focus to highlight the voices and stories of the younger generations, following a tradition that no voices too young or too old to carry important knowledge and teachings.HOW accepts submission of Indigenous  youth in any creative form, including writing, visual art, performance art, digital media and recorded art. The submissions will be displayed during the 2027 Weaving Words Celebration.  The 2027 celebration also includes an opportunity for youth to submit a T-Shirt design that will be printed on volunteer and participant t-shirts for the 2027 event.
